Ruth Holmes has been
involved in the not-for-profit sector from an early age, having taken part
in fundraising activities from the age of 11!
Her not-for-profit career spans 15 years and has
included working as a charity administrator, fundraiser and lastly as a
senior manager for two national charities.
In 1998 Ruth achieved a personal ambition by setting up
Holmes Consultancy Services (HCS) with her husband, Mike, offering
consultancy and training in fundraising, charity management and IT to the
not-for-profit sector and small businesses.
Ruth particularly enjoys the interactive nature and
variety of delivering training and is keen to help people to develop and
to enable them to gain confidence to fulfil their potential.
