Alec Sandison is a specialist in the governance and management of 'not- for-profit' organisations and their financial management.

A professionally qualified accountant, Alec has considerable practical experience of the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, including CEO posts in both; he has worked with executive and non-executive directors, charity trustees, management and volunteers. He also created the 'People to People' social skills course.

He believes that theoretical concepts such as 'leadership' and 'management' can have real, practical applications and that technical subjects need not be difficult to understand. As a speaker, trainer and facilitator, he enjoys working with groups and individuals to help them realise and develop their potential.
